BEDFORD, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–SecurID, the trusted identity platform and an RSA company, today announced a key addition to its leadership team, appointing Laura Marx as Chief Marketing Officer.
Laura brings to this position over 15 years of experience in global marketing, alliance marketing and product marketing. As Chief Marketing Officer, Laura will be responsible for elevating the SecurID brand, defining and executing marketing strategies, driving growth and communicating SecurID’s unique value.
Laura’s appointment follows the recent hires of Chief Financial Officer Craig Nickerson, Chief Product Officer Jim Taylor and President and Chief Commercial Officer Greg Nelson. These hires will continue to drive SecurID’s progress towards becoming a high-growth, independent SaaS company following the spin-off of RSA from Dell Technologies.

Prior to joining SecurID, Laura served as Vice President of Global Product and Alliance Marketing at Poly, a company with over $1 billion in digital communications sales. There, she led global product, software and service launches, leading cross-functional teams in the development of digital marketing plans, sales enablement and integrated communications programs. Prior to Poly, Laura held leadership positions at Monster, where she led international expansion initiatives for the company’s media alliances.
Laura holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis. She lives in Greater Boston with her husband and three children.
