Kohout has also held senior marketing and sales positions at Sun Microsystems, EMC, and most recently HPE, where he led both product marketing and field marketing. Kohout began his career in broadcast journalism on KXLE Radio and KVEW Television in Washington State. He is a graduate of Central Washington State University and currently serves on its board of trustees.
