Kearny Bank appoints Ridgewood resident as chief marketing officer

Fairfield-based Kearny Bank announced on Wednesday that it has appointed Matthew Lindenberg to the newly created position of senior vice president/chief marketing officer.

In his new role, Lindenberg, a Ridgewood resident, will be responsible for leading Kearny Bank’s marketing efforts, including expanding brand presence; help maintain and expand current banking and lending relationships; develop an integrated marketing communications strategy focused on data-driven marketing targeting, personalization and effectiveness measurement; and expanding media and community outreach.

Lindenberg will be based at the company’s headquarters in Fairfield.

Immediately prior to joining Kearny Bank, Lindenberg served as vice president of digital customer experience strategy for global marketing, advertising and data services firm Epsilon, part of Publicis Groupe. With a background that includes extensive experience in financial services, retail and e-commerce, his professional focus has been to use data and analytics to develop key business insights, then create and execute appropriate action plans.

“Matt has a fascinating background in collecting, analyzing and using data – and we look forward to leveraging his abilities,” Anthony Bilotta, Executive Vice President/Chief Banking Officer of Kearny Bank. “The most successful companies collect information and then use it to connect with their customers and drive business results. I am confident that Matt’s expertise and experience will allow us to do this more efficiently than ever.
