NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–JP Morgan today announced the arrival of Paul Halpern as Chief Marketing Officer for US Wealth Management, one of the company’s key areas of focus for customer growth . Halpern will lead a large team at a crucial time when the company is set to launch several new products later this year.

In his three decades of experience in the financial industry, Paul has promoted digital banking products and worked with financial advisors. Paul served as Chief Marketing Officer at Betterment before joining Morgan Stanley as Head of Deposits and Cash Management for its private bank. He previously worked at Merrill Lynch, where he led marketing for the mass affluent and affluent segments, and E*Trade, covering investment product and site marketing. He started his career at Capital One.

JP Morgan executives announced major investments in the wealth management business earlier this year. The firm has multiple channels that meet each client’s unique financial needs, including online investing and in-branch and office-based advisors. Later this year, the company will launch a new remote counseling channel and digital money coach to help Chase customers plan for the future. The bank said it would add 1,300 new financial advisors and reach $1 trillion in client assets by 2025.
As a member of the JP Morgan Wealth Management leadership team, Paul will report to CEO Kristin Lemkau and JPMorgan Chase Chief Marketing Officer Carla Hassan.
