New Delhi: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd, participates in the exhibition “Nation Building and CPSEs”. The Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), in collaboration with SCOPE, under the umbrella of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ (AKAM), is organizing the mega event at the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from 9 to 12 June 2022. The Honorable Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman and Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel opened the exhibition today.
Shri Pradip Kumar Das, President and Managing Director (CMD), IREDA, in the presence of Shri Chintan Shah, Director (Technical), and other officials inaugurated the IREDA pavilion at the expo today. IREDA presents its various financial products, programs and contributions to the development of the renewable energy sector in the country under the theme “Aatmanirbhar Bharat”. A total of 75 CPSEs set up booths at Mahatma Mandir to showcase their contribution and the development of the country over the past seven decades.
CMD and Director (Technical), IREDA, along with other CMDs, MDs and Directors from other CPSEs, also participated in the CPSE CEO Roundtable on “Role of CPSEs for a Self-Reliant India”. The discussion focused on increasing professionalism and competitiveness while also focusing on their core competency.
