FREED has appointed Romy Walia as Marketing Director. In her new role, Walia will be responsible for driving the overall marketing strategy and its execution, including consumer, commercial and digital marketing for the company. Based in Gurugram, Romy Walia will work closely with the management team to expand the country’s operations in India.
According to Ritesh Srivastava, founder and CEO of FREED, Walia will prove invaluable in the company’s go-to-market strategy. “Our team is a team that embodies passion, empathy and service. Romy Walia has two decades of experience on three continents. He claims to have been instrumental in omnichannel marketing and brand management for businesses. By managing cross-border and functional teams, he has successfully delivered value propositions with strategic and tactical nuances in cutting-edge brand technology and ad technology platforms. Prior to joining FREED, he held the position of Product Manager, Vendasta, an all-in-one platform for businesses providing digital solutions to SMBs.
