BitSight Appoints Catherine Harrell as Chief Marketing Officer

BitSightsecurity clearance standard, announced today that it has appointed Catherine Harrel as Marketing Director. Catherine joins BitSight from Brightly, a SaaS provider of asset and maintenance management software, where she was CMO and a key member of the management team that achieved significant revenue and profitability growth over the past his term of more than three years. Brightly has 800 employees serving approximately 12,000 customers across the United States, CanadaUK and Australiaand was recently acquired by Siemens Smart Infrastructure.

Harrell brings over two decades of deep strategic marketing experience in the high-tech software industry, with the last 10 years at the executive level. In his role as CMO, Harrell will lead strategy and execution for all of BitSight’s marketing functions and teams. Catherine’s proven ability to build and lead successful marketing teams that consistently deliver strong customer value and business results will be extremely valuable to BitSight.

In his role at Brightly, Harrell led the company through its successful global rebrand and expanded its marketing capabilities and growth impact across multiple customer segments, verticals and geographies. Prior to her role at Brightly, she was Executive Vice President of Global Marketing at PrecisionLender, Vice President of Marketing at Citrix, and held several senior marketing positions at Intuit.
