Athena strengthens its management and marketing team with the appointment of a Chief Marketing Officer, a Vice President of Global Marketing and a Vice President of Global Communications

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Athena, a mission-driven services company that matches Philippines-based executive assistants with entrepreneurs and leadership teams on four continents, is strengthening its leadership team and marketing with the appointment of chief marketing officer Peter Sloterdyk, vice president of global marketing Leanne Glamuzina and vice president of global communications Tatiana Day.

Peter Sloterdyk is a marketing expert with over 15 years of experience developing meaningful marketing programs and building world-class teams for Fortune 500 companies, scale-ups and start-ups. As Chief Marketing Officer, Peter will lead the strategic growth of the Athena brand and global customer base in existing and new markets, while further establishing Athena as the authority in delegation power. Formerly Global Director of Marketing and Technology for Koala, he led marketing, media, strategy, creative, data and insights analytics, engineering, UX/UI, communications, public and media relations, performance marketing, news, business strategy and global expansion initiatives. Prior to Koala, Peter held senior global marketing positions at Netflix, Grindr and MXM, part of Accenture Interactive.

Leanne Galmuzina joins Athena as Vice President of Global Marketing, bringing over 20 years of experience in marketing and brand activation across the media, entertainment and e-commerce industries. In her new role at Athena, Leanne will lead a team responsible for growing the Athena brand across the Philippines market and beyond to increase the depth and breadth of skills within the company. Leanne is the former VP of Marketing at Koala, an e-commerce furniture company. She has also held senior roles at NOVA Entertainment, Australia’s leading independent audio entertainment company, and most recently as a founding member of an NFT start-up.

Specializing in consumer and corporate communications, as well as issues and crisis management, Tatiana has led teams for multinational FTSE 100 companies in the UK, Europe and APAC. As Vice President of Global Communications, Tatiana will be responsible for all internal and external communications at Athena, including corporate rewards strategy and event management.
