Malik joins Braze after former CMO Sara Spivey retired earlier this month. Reporting to Co-Founder and CEO Bill Magnuson, Malik will join Braze’s leadership team and oversee all global marketing functions.

A technology industry veteran, Malik brings over 20 years of experience building brands, driving innovation and accelerating revenue growth. Most recently, Malik served as COO of VTEX, where she oversaw the company’s global go-to-market strategy and operations, global marketing, global enablement, growth operations people and strategic alliances. Throughout her career, she has also held leadership positions at a number of leading technology companies, including Zendesk, Citrix, Sumo Logic and PagerDuty.
