Ascot Lloyd appoints marketing director


In this new role, effective June 7, Vella will lead the marketing function, developing all aspects of Ascot Lloyd’s brand image and internal and external communications to drive lead generation and optimize customer retention.

He will also be responsible for developing Ascot Lloyd’s ‘on-demand’ telephone advice offering, with a focus on digital services as well as a non-advice direct investment offering to coincide with its growth plans. .

Over the past 25 years, Vella has worked across the financial services industry, from founding to scaling established businesses, such as Towergate, AXA and Lloyds Banking Group. He comes from Profile Pensions where he was CMO responsible for new customer acquisition, all aspects of branding, communications and e-commerce as well as digital and automated sales and service delivery.
